My Experience and Practice

I decided to pursue Puja Marma as a way to expand and deepen my knowledge and practice in the field of bodywork.

In my practice, I rely on attentive observation and the development of a trusting therapeutic relationship. I support clients in expanding their possibilities of being in and with their bodies. I trust the process and the insights that arise when working with the body. I encourage listening to the body’s impulses. I am influenced and inspired by the approach of biosynthetic psychotherapy, which works with the integration of life experiences across three interconnected and mutually influencing levels. Bodily sensation (movement), feeling/experiencing (emotionality), and cognition (mind) manifest in and through the body. Therefore, in my body-oriented therapeutic work, I enjoy uncovering bodily patterns, learned and unconscious tendencies, and ingrained mechanisms across all three levels, and I encourage the client to be consciously present with them.

My practiceMarma Puja Marma does not replace or substitute for psychotherapy. I view them as sisters who can complement each other well, but they are neither interchangeable nor reducible to one another.

I am a full member of the Czech Association for Psychotherapy and an applicant for the European Certificate of Psychotherapy (ECP). I regularly receive supervision for my work and engage in ongoing professional development. I can also conduct therapy in English.
